Founded in 1962, Sugarbush Polo Club is the oldest club in Vermont. We pride ourselves on a friendly, collaborative atmosphere that combines competitiveness, horsemanship, sportsmanship, volunteerism and fun. The polo season runs from May through October, and if we are really lucky, sometimes into November!

Polo is a great way to advance your horsemanship skills while having fun and meeting other riders who are passionate about horse sports. Whether you are a beginner rider, a seasoned professional, or somewhere in between, you are welcome to come learn about the game and give it a try. The Sugarbush Polo Club plays on three fields, which are in Richmond, Waitsfield and Colchester. Spectators are welcome to watch the matches and also to meet the horses and players.  Feel free to contact us if you have questions about the game, gear, horses, our club, or anything else.
